Lekha 2

He was married to someone else. So was she. They were colleagues.when they met he was in his late 30s and she was mid 40. He was overwhelmed with her simplicity.. the attraction was imminent. He made the first move, but met with resistance. To her falling for another man was a sin... she was quite content with her life. All she ever wanted was someone to talk to... husband, kids were too busy with their lives...

He stopped where she wanted him to... they become buddies... she talked talked and talked... he was such a good listener. He was her open window.

Days passed... they came closer... she met with an accident and lost her mother.... he wanted to drop in to her place... to console her... he wanted to hug her... wiping out every single drop of tears from her weeping eyes was all he wanted. But she refused to let him in... she called him a sexstarved animal.. all his feelings and emotions were branded as mere sexual desires. Otherwise why would a happily married man cherish feelings for other woman? She eventually blocked his no... he pleaded for one last hearing but she was adament.

Its been seven months since he quit the job and left the city... she was happy at the begining. But these days she wanders alone through the lonely streets where they used to wander together...touches the benches they used to sit and talk....relives every moment they spent together...she still loves her husband very dearly but something has changed.... yes deep down she misses him... his feelings were precious... those moments were priceless.

She unblocked his no in whatsapp but he last logged in seven months ago.... she tried to call him but phone was switched off... facebook was the last option but he deactivated his account long ago.
